Toy with Me started in 2017 as a way to educate the local Chicago Community about a spicier safer sex experience with the help of kink and sexual health experts in the community. Starting out as group classes and partnering with ONYX Midwest, moving to Zoom amidst the COVID pandemic, and moving to live streams with a small audience. Toy with Me Live has partnered with ONYX Midwest bridging a connection to local kink organizations, community, and educators.

ONYX is an organization founded in 1995 to provide education, fraternization, and serve as a bridge for Men of Color to the greater Leather community. They are proud to partner with Project VIDA and Toy With Me as members of the leather and kink community. They now have 10 (Ten) chapters nationwide. The Midwest Chapter is centered in Chicago and also includes St Louis, Milwaukee, Des Moines and other cities in the Midwestern US.
